“The Bible was written by humans!”

“It’s all just a man-made belief!”

The Bible was written by people – more precisely, about 40 people and consists of 66 different books. It was written over a period of about 1,500-1,600 years. The authors of the Bible lived on three continents and wrote in three languages: Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek (primarily in Hebrew and Greek). Many of the authors lived in very different generations and never had contact with each other – many had never even heard of each other, but still the Bible constitutes a unified story with a remarkable unity and a common thread through everything from Genesis to Revelation, all of which point towards the same thing.

This would be impossible without divine inspiration, for the Bible manages, through 1,500 years, 40 authors, three languages, and three continents, to give the same message throughout, which underpins and in agreement creates unity without contradicting itself.

Archaeologically and scientifically, the Old Testament was written hundreds of years before Jesus was born, and yet in the New Testament He fulfilled over 300 Messianic prophecies from the Old Testament. Statisticians indicate that the probability of just 8 of the prophecies being fulfilled by one person is 1 in 100,000,000,000,000,000 (a one with 17 zeros!). For example, for 48 prophecies to be fulfilled, the number is so astronomical that we do not understand it – almost impossible for any human being to fulfill. Yet they are all fulfilled in one person: Jesus.

At the same time, an extremely large number of the Bible’s other prophecies have been confirmed by history and archaeology: For example, prophecies about the destruction of Babylon, Nineveh, and Tyre are described by contemporary and later historians – and excavations confirm the dramatic destruction of the cities, as predicted in the prophetic books. Even remains of the sulfur that rained down on Sodom and Gomorrah have been found and confirmed.

​The Bible is thus both a cultural, historical, and theological unique entity. No other “religious text” – neither the Quran, the Book of Mormon, the Hindu Vedas, nor the Buddhist sutras – can match its history, complexity, and prophetic fulfillment across authors and eras.

At the same time, the Bible has been handed down, copied and translated more than any other book in history – and even without significant changes: There are over 24,000 ancient manuscripts of the New Testament, which places the Bible well ahead of, for example, Homer’s Iliad and the works of Caesar. In comparison, only a few hundred manuscripts of Homer’s works exist and less than 20 of Caesar’s “De Bello Gallico”.

An enormous number of values ​​are today built on the Bible – even our calendar is built after Jesus – and yet there is no faith and a person like Jesus who has for so many years brought hatred to people’s minds – because the name Jesus provokes! Countries forbid belief in Jesus Christ – despite the fact that a living belief in Him has never harmed anyone. The fact that believing in Him can result in the death penalty in several countries must be because there is actually something about Him! Otherwise it would have been indifferent to believe in a “fantasy god” – but the punishment for following Jesus is in many regimes far harsher than the punishment for many other crimes with violent torture as a result… and yet people choose to believe in Jesus. Why believe in something that can result in the death penalty if it is all just fiction?

Have you considered why people in their language call on the devil – and ridicule Jesus and God. Why is it not Buddha or Mohammed who should be ridiculed? Because there is a spiritual reality!

Even atheists say “God is evil because he let my xxx die….” but why should God be to blame if He doesn’t exist?? Because God has put a longing deep inside everyone’s heart to find the truth! And Jesus says “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life”.

​No other text than the Bible has so much confirmed historical data, ancient manuscripts, and “common thread” over so many years. But the final and important question is: “Is Jesus really the Son of God and equal to God,” and “Is the Bible really the Word of God”? Yes, it is a CHOICE to BELIEVE… but you must know that Jesus wants fellowship with you! The only question is: Do you want fellowship with Him?

The choice is yours, but you must make it BEFORE you die – because then it is too late!! A choice without God also leads to an eternity without Him – which means: No forgiveness, no satiety, no quenched thirst, no peace, no sleep, no joy, no comfort, no love, nothing that can put out the fire!
