When God separates the sheep from the goats – then what?
…how do you get to be among the sheep?
I woke up this morning with tons of thoughts running through my head – so I had to sit down in front of the keyboard and get it all written down…
Right now, we are in a time where we as Christians increasingly experience the “sheep being separated from the goats”. We will experience how certain Christians choose Jesus wholeheartedly, but on the other hand, we will see how the established church take in more and more junk, things like accepting various types of sin or “new age” etc.! We will see many go to church for the sake of the “power”, for the sake of the church, or for the sake of being “seen”, and they will feel that they are ONLY accountable to the church and its parishioners for their lives and actions – they forget all about having to be accountable to Jesus – He is the one who delivers or judges us – even with our own words and actions.
If, as a church, we are afraid to correct and teach right from wrong, we will have a church where the lowest common denominator sets the standard – and if even the church is afraid to correct people who live in sin, because people may feel judged, then there’s not much “holiness” left with which to do good. Sure, the church doesn’t lose members by shutting up, but God’s revival disappears from people’s hearts, and the ones who truly want God will often leave the church. All that’s left is a weekly concert and a show with smoke and lights and entertainment.
REMEMBER that God looks at people’s hearts – and not just on the outside… God doesn’t want a fake outward “mask”, rather He wants a heart for Him that is noble and pure in ALL THINGS. A sin is not diminished by being hidden from others…! And boy have I seen some faking and “masquerading” among “Christians” in my time.
I have experienced “Christians”…
… who are the most amazing leaders in church, but who are rotten to the core when you look at their families, where they tyrannize their children and/or spouses – or constantly argue in the family, causing hurt for everyone.
… who place more importance on others seeing their “service” in church “on the stage” than on serving Jesus in private.
… who say they believe in Jesus, but who also acknowledge that they don’t take everything in the Bible to be literally true. It’s just a guide.
… who have sex outside marriage (living with a girlfriend/boyfriend or cheating on a spouse),
… who don’t believe that sin leads to perdition; “After all, Jesus is pure love” – causing them to live as regular charitable humanists.
… who in all things are driven by selfishness, anger, or “I deserve better”.
…who believe they have been forgiven by Jesus, while they refuse to forgive others.
… who declare that they have given their lives to Jesus, but who, at the same time, are freemasons who have entered into a direct initiation death pact with their freemasonry brothers and have sworn allegiance to “King Solomon’s infallible master builder, Hiram Abiff” – Jesus as the chief corner stone has been replaced with “Solomon’s architect”.
… who praise Jesus on Sunday, while seeking wisdom through psychics or through meditation the rest of the week – or seek peace through yoga and other types of new-age stuff.
… who attend church regularly – perhaps even as youth leaders, who have no problem going out every weekend and get drunk out of their minds.
… who are faithfully involved in church, but who are homo-, bi-, or transsexual, etc.
… who hold a leadership position in their local congregation, while they frequent brothels on their own time or when traveling abroad.
… who want Jesus whole-heartedly, but who still play games like Avalon, LOL, etc., creating an opening into the world of the occult – and for many, Avalon creates an opening for anger…. Or who watch the goriest of thrillers or Sci-Fi movies.
… who focuses ONLY on God’s miracles and power to the extent that the full and complete gospel about heaven/hell, sin, conversion, baptism in water and the spirit, discipleship, and salvation fades into oblivion.
– and the list could go on. If you see yourself in one of the groups above, then turn back…! Ask yourself the question: “What do you intend to do with your faith?”
If you WANT Jesus wholeheartedly… then turn back before it is too late…! TURN BACK…! But on the other hand, if you actually don’t WANT Jesus with all your heart and maybe barely believe in Him, but you just need to “be seen” or to get a “pat on the back” at church, then drop Jesus! You can’t serve as an example and still believe you can keep one foot in each camp!
Jesus wants to be with you, but He doesn’t want to share you with others!! It is a choice between Jesus and Satan. “Unfortunately,” there is no happy medium, and there are only Heaven and Hell – so don’t waste your chance. Honestly…!! Faith without works is an empty faith. And the works don’t just happen at church, where you can get a pat on the back for it… No – the works happen out there where you get beaten up for believing in Jesus, where life is not necessarily fun, and where you get to defend your faith to others!
James 4:7-9
Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom.
Revelation 3:15-16
“I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot.
So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.
