Just a Quick Glimpse into this Past Week
…how we experienced God in our day-to-day lives.
Here is a quick update from the past week or so.
A few days ago, my son Benjamin had a friend over… but it was only a few minutes, before his friend was almost knocked out by cat allergies. His eyes were watering, his throat was closing up, and he had a red rash on his neck. So, they both ended up in my office, where I had the privilege of praying for the friend… who proceeded to go out and play with the cat, kiss it – and was healed… Shortly after this, the friend went into the room where our Christmas tree was, and it was on again. As it turned out, he was allergic to pine as well. He broke out all over the place, but in short order he was back with me, received prayer, and was completely healed…
In a Vejle Facebook group, my daughter, Michelle, had read that a guy had a fairly acute need for a chiropractor. Wonderfully outspoken as she is, she referred to intercessory prayer – and it turned into a LOOOONGG thread with more than 200 entries – and as a result, on Saturday she is opening her photo studio to a mini discussion and healing meeting, where I have promised to show up and help out. Several have already indicated that they will be there. It is awesome that a single frank comment can be the start of so much…
The day before yesterday, I received a call from an older couple in the area, where the wife was experiencing acute pain in her leg from the small of her back all the way down to her foot. She could hardly walk and had been checked at the hospital to no avail. After I spoke to her for a bit and prayed for her, ALL her pain was completely gone, and she tossed away her cane.
Yesterday, Birte and I were at a funeral. One of the guests suffered from asthma, allergies, and discouragement. We were allowed to pray for her at the coffee held afterwards, and she truly felt the Holy Spirit – she shivered all over, and her heart was racing “out of control” in her chest, she felt a warmth all over, and she experienced our prayer as directly targeting her situation. She was able to inhale all the way into her lungs again, and where she had eczema, her skin began to tingle. It is absolutely amazing when God touches a person that way.
Then today, Benjamin had a friend over who was cured for tendovaginitis in his arm, and whose asthma was healed today. At the same time, a neurologist had found that one of his legs was longer than the other one. There was about a 2 cm. difference – and we watched as the shorter leg grew out – and he was healed. It felt quite strange for him to get back up walking….
