Teaching at a high school
…and God was tugging hard…!
I just really want to share something.
Today, Birte and I were at Kolding High School (in Denmark) to teach about Christianity – and about being “fundamentalist” in our belief in the Bible.
In the beginning, people were fairly skeptical… a whole lot, actually! But when we, at the end of the presentation (in front of the entire class), prayed for a Muslim who had pneumonia and asthma, things started happening. At first he felt nothing. Then he started to cough quite a bit (the mucus was loosening up), and eventually all his airways were clear – right there in front of EVERYONE in the class.
After that, people were eager to receive prayer for all kinds of things. Birte had a girl experience deliverance right there in class, and I experienced quite a few healings as well. Wow, wow, wow, God is amazing.
Several chose to bring home a copy of the “New Testament” – and a healing.
A friend of one of the people who were healed just contacted us to request prayer as well – and someone else from the class wrote the following tonight:

You were at the school today to tell us about fundamentalism.
I still don’t agree about the principles, but I have to say, you floored me with your salvation from the Holy Spirit. I have had a crooked back my whole life, and for the first time in 19 years, I am walking straight – and my double-jointed knees – I could never do lunging exercises, but now I can.I just want to know if it is going to last? Or if I will go back to being crooked and double-jointed?
And thank you so much.

…and in case you wonder, here is my reply to the e-mail:

Thank you for your e-mail 🙂Sure, there are a lot of “principles” to take in, but once you realize that God is more than a boring religion, and really a loving father who cares for us, you can’t really help yourself.
To answer your question… Basically, it is not pain relief, but rather healing.
– In our experience, a lot of disease is of the Devil – and precisely the Devil loves to make people think they are not healed. An example:
If you pray for a person with a broken arm, it will heal up. You would be able to get an X-ray to confirm this… but afterwards, the Devil will (in certain cases) give you some pain in the arm, where the fracture was, in order to get you to doubt your healing – essentially “phantom pains”. But if you have it X-rayed again, you will see that it is still healed up. What you need to do if you experience that type of pain again is to thank Jesus for being healed. Just be specific and pray something like “Jesus, thank you for healing me on August 24 – I cling to that and thank you for loving me”… then you will see the pain subside again.Far from everyone experiences a return of the disease/pain, but some do… because the Devil doesn’t want you to experience God’s freedom in that way. The Devil doesn’t want anything good for us….
If you get into occult activities or do some things that are wrong in God’s eyes, you will often experience that it returns – and at that point it is simply a matter of turning from that for the pain/disease to let go.
– But again. It is healing – not an “analgesic”. But REMEMBER Jesus – thank Him regularly for your healing…!
Sincerely,
AndreasPS.: If you someday experience it coming back and that ‘saying thank you’ doesn’t work, then call or write…!! Then we will be more than happy to pray for you

The only problem with today’s visit…: the time was far too short (90 minutes) – and there were WAY too many questions, so everything got a little rushed at the end. So good thing there was recess afterwards.
….in spite of the time crunch, their teacher wrote afterwards:

Hi, Andreas and Birthe,
Thank you for the visit 😊. It was a class that was quite unusual, and I am convinced that the students will remember it for a long time. I apologize for interrupting Birte’s last segment, but I was frustrated about the time, because the students were prepared and had much to say, which I’m sure you noted. Therefore, we could easily have spent another 20 minutes debating, because there are a lot of things we don’t understand and would like to pursue. Your healing seance made a great impression on everyone. I am looking forward to following up on it in the next class, especially in terms of the effect on those touched by it.
