Healed in a Muslim Pizzaria.
…when God leads.
Today I went out to set up and configure a new broadband router in my daughter’s photo studio…. BUT already at 11:30 am, I couldn’t keep my hunger at bay any longer, so what to do? – I had to have a kabob-thingy.
On our way up to get this yummy kabob-thingy, we saw a boy come walking toward us with his arm in a sling… but no. I was SO hungry and I was bonking so much that I didn’t have the energy right then to stop him and ask if I could pray for him. So we rushed up to the other end of the mall to extinguish our hunger with one of those kabob-thingies. Yummy……
– but God really has a great sense of humor – it wasn’t 5 minutes later when that same kid came into our pizzeria along with 6-7 other boys…. And now there was no longer any excuse other than the usually “awkwardness”. So I poked him and asked him what had happened. It was a broken collar bone. I said two brief prayers – and he was totally healed…. And the boys got the gospel as well… Afterwards, one of the other boys tell us that his back is crooked and that he would like me to pray for him… Awesome There is a difference of 3 cm in the length of his legs due to the crookedness.
To mix it up a little, I asked one of the other boys to hold his friend’s leg, so I couldn’t cheat (apparently, that’s what a lot of people think)… and in the meantime, all the other boys crowded in around him with their cameras – and of cause the Muslim owner of the pizzeria did too. As expected, the leg grew longer – boy, did they get quiet – and the comment from the owner of the pizzeria was: “Shit”… and then he was out of there.
Yay… there was the kabob – and while we ate, the boys had tons of questions about God, and before we knew it Michelle had also prayed for one of the boys who was immediately healed from asthma and was able to draw air all the way into his lungs now…. After which we got permission to pray down the power of the Holy Spirit over four of the boys.
Well…. That’s how an empty stomach can turn into a little healing meeting in the middle of a Muslim pizzeria in Vejle….
THANK YOU JESUS, BECAUSE YOU ARE THE ONE WORKING YOUR POWER. THANK YOU THAT ALL WHO BELIEVE IN YOU NOT ONLY CAN, BUT HAVE BEEN COMMANDED TO LAY HANDS ON THE SICK, AND THEY WILL BE HEALED.
