Biblical Prophecy is Coming True!
…reintroduction of sacrifices and the construction of a new temple.
Normally, I’m not one to hang my hat on “end-time prophecy”… because there are plenty of them – and most are not from God.
But over the coming years, I THINK things will change, because one of the major things discussed in the Bible may be in the process of happening!
King Cyrus reconstructed the temple of King Solomon in Jerusalem in the year 519 BC (today, the Wailing Wall is one of the remnants from that temple). About 70 AD, the temple was destroyed and all the Jewish offerings stopped, as the Jews fled Israel.
The Bible talks about a time when “the third temple” will be built in Jerusalem, from which the antichrist will rule (Daniel 9:27, 2. Thessalonians 2:3-4, and Revelation 11:1-2). From that temple, all the Jewish offerings mentioned in the Pentateuch will be reintroduced.
To many, this sounds crazy – and in the beginning I too thought it was a hoax (fake news), but the highest Jewish council, the Sanhedrin, has asked for help from both president Putin and president Trump to reconstruct a third temple.
And for this reason, the Jews, in connection with the 70th anniversary of their “new state”, had a new coin minted (temple coin) with the value of half a Shekel, featuring King Cyrus and Trump to symbolize the reconstruction of the temple with help from Trump. You can see and purchase the coin in places like ebay.co.uk (search for “Jewish Temple Mount Israel Coin”).
You may want to read more about the coin here.
The temple has already been designed and prepared down to the last detail, and it actually has been for several years – so there is nothing “new” there. It is intended to look like the temple of King Herod (the one who wanted to kill Jesus).
Already in March of 2015, the Jews had a historic “Passover exercise”, where the practiced how to handle offerings, etc., once the new temple has been completed.
If you read the Pentateuch (chapter 19 of Numbers), a perfect red heifer is required to dedicate “the sanctuary of the Lord” – and there are very specific requirements for this red heifer, so those don’t “turn up” just like that. The Jewish “Temple Institute” announced on September 4, 2018, that the week prior, on August 28, 2018, the first “perfect red heifer” in the last 2000 years had been born in Israel. Not even two white hairs are allowed on this calf, and even the hoofs must have a reddish sheen.
A week after the birth, the heifer was inspected and approved by the Jewish council to be the red heifer to use as an offering when dedicating their new temple, BUT the “interesting” thing is that it needs to be 3 or 4 years old… Meaning the temple must be completed NO LATER than year 2022/2023 if this particular red heifer is to be used in the dedication of the temple. Read the Jewish article about the heifer here.
In and of itself, it may sound like “who cares” and a little ridiculous, but the thing is that on December 10, 2018 (the last day of Jewish Hanukkah, which is a celebration of light to commemorate the year 64 BC, when the Jews vanquished the Greeks and reestablished their power over Judea, the Sanhedrin invited 70 nations to the dedication of their new altar, which is to be used for offerings in the third temple to be erected. It turned out to be more than a “dedication”, it was actually the first offering of a perfect lamb that was done. The city of Jerusalem had refused to let the Jews do the actual butchering, so it was killed somewhere else, but sacrificed on their new altar.
…and not only that – the seven-branched candelabrum – the Menorah – is already ready for the new temple (read more here), and the crown for the “Messiah” (antichrist) is in the process of being designed (read more here):
So, what does all this mean…? Should we be worried? Should we be in fear of the end times? NO – we certainly should not, as long as we cling to Jesus. If, on the other hand, Jesus has been relegated to the periphery of our lives, then being fairly worried is appropriate…
Whether all of this will happen in the next 3-4 years, I have no idea – nobody does…! And it really isn’t important when, but we can see that things are getting more and more intense.
Generally, we are living in sad times, where we will see more and more Christians abandoning their faith in Jesus Christ – or continuing to believe in Jesus, but refusing to obey the word of God and accepting the fact that sin separates us from God. They get more excited about porn, drunkenness, orgies, wrong sexual orientation, lies and all kinds of other sins. Much will be tolerated in the churches – and we will experience how the creature will be worshipped rather than the creator. We will experience a time when occult and religious rituals will be drawn in and accepted among believers, and a time when there will be more focus on the church than on Jesus Christ. Other faiths will be accepted in the churches, as long as people believe in Jesus “as well”, hell will disappear from people’s consciousness, and even chosen Christians will be led astray. We will also see how great preachers will call for unity among all religious faiths – Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Catholicism, Protestantism, and Hinduism – everything will be combined into one big world church, and Jesus will no longer be the ONLY way to salvation.
So, therefore… spend (more) time with Jesus! Spend time obeying him and conform to the word of God, the Bible. Don’t sift through the Bible, but instead thank Jesus for letting you serve Him in His way, not in your way.
If we live as purely as we can for Jesus, we have NOTHING to fear – nothing to worry about! The only thing that should make us concerned is all the people who don’t choose Jesus and who will not be in heaven.
And remember that Jesus Christ was, is, and will be the one and only and ultimate sacrifice, LIBERATING us from all sacrifices – and from the old covenant to which the Jews used to be subjected. You might want to read Hebrews 10 if you would like to refresh your memory. Today, we are not justified by sacrifices and by keeping to lots of old laws and regulations from the Pentateuch, but by believing in and obeying Jesus Christ, along with the words the Holy Spirit has placed on our hearts if we have fully surrendered to Jesus.
Hebrews 10:15-18
But the Holy Spirit also witnesses to us; for after He had said before, “This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them,” then He adds, “Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.” Now where there is remission of these, there is no longer an offering for sin.
